Overview

The X-RAD iR-160 is a compact cabinet X-ray irradiator designed for superficial irradiation studies, and is ideal for delivering high doses to cell and tissue cultures.

The Operator Interface is simple to use and yet offers the greatest amount of flexibility for performing high and low dose exposures over a broad range of settings.

The X-RAD 160C is a self-contained X-ray irradiation system for high and low dose radiation studies normally conducted in research laboratories.

The cabinet requires no additional shielding and features an adjustable specimen shelf and filter station to provide ultra stable and uniform dose delivery.

The X-RAD Control is a multi-language selectable graphical interface with all x-ray parameters and system status clearly displayed.

Programmable exposure settings allow for fast and repeatable exposure setup.

The X-RAD 160XL/XLi is a self-contained X-ray system for delivering a precise radiation dosage to specimens in a biological or small animal research laboratory. 

The shielded cabinet includes a TouchRad Control, Key Operated Motorized Adjustable Specimen Shelf, Sample Viewing Window, Interior Light and Beam Hardening Filter Holder.

The X-RAD 160XL/XLi features the TouchRAD Control Panel a multi-user, password protected touch screen interface with a transportable database that can track individual system usage. 

Passwords, programmed exposure settings, and database management are controlled by a super-user.

The X-ray tube is used specifically for radiation therapy having a highly homogenous beam.
